@norm@nullenvk like, if a CS2 update comes out that has new code that does not make sense in CS2, but would make sense in another game, one can suspect that Valve is working on another game
@wolf480pl@nullenvk honestly given how long people have waited for hl3 and how at one point it seemed like valve canned the whole thing in favour of HL:Alyx, I don't really get why people were still so hyped about it instead of having tempered expectations
@norm@wolf480pl Every single source was claiming that Valve definitely won't announce anything at TGA. However, today was the very last day when Valve could announce something in 2025 (since the company's going on winter break very soon). So... People got hyped regardless. That's it. That's the whole reason.
