So far the main thing that's annoying me with openbsd on this laptop is the lack of S0ix support, which is a big deal since the laptop only supports that and not the older S3 sleep mode.
So I have no working sleep on the laptop. Worst part is if I do try to tell OpenBSD to "sleep" it just force shut down the system instead, meaning the filesystem needs to be checked on startup.
tried to install openbsd on my hp laptop, but it has no ethernet nic, the wifi card needs firmware that is not included on the openbsd install media, and of course it doesn't want to load the rndis driver for some reason
Think I'm gonna move to setting up a split horizon DNS setup for my self hosted stuff since its been working fairly well for my xmpp server and its nice having a local connection to my servers instead of making a round trip to the vps that runs the wireguard endpoint
