Somehow every single discord alternative I've tried has kinda fallen flat at even what I'd consider basic core features

All I want is VC with screen sharing, basic moderation features and text chat with history and maybe custom emotes/stickers

Somehow the alternatives either don't have one of those or if they do, it's buggy or just not working in the way I would expect it to

@norm Well I'ma let others test it out, but all other alternatives really have never gain enough adoption by anyone in my circles to be useful. VC-backed discord is just too powerful and has too much momentum.

@lupo for me it's more of certain features I've come to expect and use often that end up being half baked. I'm in a friend group that's been looking for a good discord alternative for a few years now and I don't think we've really found one that's actually good.

Of course, I also have friends that aren't willing to jump ship in any case so yeah
