Had two strange crashes happen twice the past month, where my SSD would just disappear when I force restart unless I actually power cycle the system

kinda wondering if I should try another MSI board or go for another brand like Gigabyte

@michcia I don't really know who's a good brand these days. Asrock has horror stories of frying CPUs, ASUS is kinda scummy...
