So I was pointed towards '7z b' for benchmarking CPU performance. The results are fun!

Ryzen 7 5800X3D desktop: 65895 (probably helped by lots of cache)
Core i7 4770: 22361
PowerPC G5 1.8Ghz x2: 732
PowerPC G4 1.0Ghz x2: 511

Damn. Someone should test a modern RISC machine too.
it's just 4 terminals that sum up the results from the post

@izzy I do kinda wonder how the 9950x3d2 would perform with even more cache, but I already spent a lot on this cpu so...

@norm I'm sure we could convince someone to test a 5800 non-X3D to see how much difference tripling the cache makes
