Apparently Samsung may be looking to exit the SATA SSD market, guess the end of SATA is getting closer.

Afaik, the only new SATA SSDs that have a DRAM cache are Samsung ones. Pretty much everything else I've seen are cheaper to produce DRAM-less stuff.

Which for SATA is especially important since at least with NVMe, you can use a portion of system ram for the cache (HMB) but SATA has no such facility.
