I like how every time I log into this account on moshidon, I get a little popup that says 'NotImplemented' but I have no idea what exactly isn't implemented
NGL I do actually kinda prefer caching remote media on the server instead of simply proxying it like the pleroma family does
The main thing though is that it should be easy to do a routine cleanup of old remote media which thankfully is the case with iceshrimp.net (unlike mastodon from what I'm hearing)
@theking@ezio same, I kinda have gone overboard with a 4tb main ssd in my desktop and both the steam deck and laptop having 2tb ones, none of them getting close to being filled tbh
I'd probably get a pi 5 if I wanted a low powered server for iceshrimp.net just cause it's a bit more powerful but as I already have a pi 4, this works well enough
So getting posts shared does actually push the cpu to max for a bit but it doesn't feel too bad otherwise, at least for the purposes of a single user instance
