I'd probably get a pi 5 if I wanted a low powered server for iceshrimp.net just cause it's a bit more powerful but as I already have a pi 4, this works well enough

So getting posts shared does actually push the cpu to max for a bit but it doesn't feel too bad otherwise, at least for the purposes of a single user instance

@tomo people overreact about the snaps, but they're not hard to ignore if you don't want to use them

@theking been using the earfun air pro 3 and it's been working well for me

air pro 4 is supposedly better, but a bit more expensive. If you can afford it that's what I'd go for

Specs of the machine this is running on:
- Raspberry Pi 4B
- 4 GB RAM
- 4x Cortex A72 cores @ 1.8 GHz
- SK hynix SC311 256 GB SSD attached via a SATA to USB adapter to a USB 3.0 port
- Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS (wanted to use the Pi version of Debian 12, but there's no .NET 9.0 package for that so yea)

yeah for some reason some akkoma profiles can't be loaded on here

judging by the errors in the logs, they seem to be due to json-ld issues or something
