totally didn't accidentally overwrite my home folder with iceshrimp.net install files and then had to recreate $HOME with /etc/skel

@eoaiuastwg that's cool

guess I'll enable AVIF once I move this instance off the raspberry pi

one thing I'll give ext4 credit for that other FSes don't have is that it records mow much writes were made to the partition over its lifetime, something that is especially useful for certain storage devices without any sort of built in record of lifetime writes cough cough SD cards

@steffo may revisit this if/when I move this to something more powerful

@steffo looks like that's on the mastodon end of things

anyhow I'm going back to webp since the pi 4's cpu is struggling a bit to convert to avif compared to webp

ok, avif takes much longer for the pi 4 to process, might go back to webp

kinda want to try using avif files here, but I don't know how well mastodon and misskey handle those

the *omas don't really care from what I can tell

@theking there should be a way to cap the journal, shouldn't be too hard to look that up

Depending on whether I get around to getting my 3d printer set up again, I'll probably move this off the pi again to something else

Huh, it's already been over a year since I made this instance...

Originally this was something I was messing with on a raspberry Pi, then it moved onto some VM on my main home server, and now it's made its way back onto the pi

possible spoilers? @wolf480pl based on how other seem to describe the game, maybe it'll be similar to how re:zero is done, where after the bad ending, you go back to some "save point" and then try again

@wolf480pl that would be very fun indeed, though I'd imagine some people would get confused trying to watch such a thing if they weren't aware of how to watch such a thing

@wolf480pl a lot of vn anime adaptations just adapt one route and ignore the rest

I guess there could be fake bad endings or something, idk

Like I said, never played the game so....
