I guess I lucked out on getting a galaxy s24 and not the s23 since the latter will lose support in 2027 as opposed to the former which will still get updates until 2031

@niconiconi @ezio to be fair there are quite a lot of usb pins on the cpu + chipset

Actually I have more usb headers than actual ports on my case so I might grab some pci brackets with usb ports that connect to those headers down the line

@Mae @wolf480pl afaik bedrock for a long time had a bug where if you were far out enough you could fall into an invisible gap between blocks into the void thanks to them using lower precision floats

granted you had to be several millions of blocks away from spawn but still

@novenary @privateger there was one time I was running an image generation model and it exhausted all of my ram and swap when I was still using 32 GB, so it would occasionally just get killed off by the OOM killer.

There was also one time I had a bad set of RAM and it would cause btrfs to mark some files as corrupt randomly lol, usually would happen when I was using more ram

@novenary @privateger I probably could get away with only 32 for the most part but I went to 64 for the same reason around the same time

@novenary @privateger I'm gonna have to bear with having "only" 64 until RAM prices drop...

@mirabilos (then again people here buy TP-Link Decos and amazon eeros to replace ISP routers...)

@mirabilos the ISP stuff must be really bad if that is considered an upgrade...

@mirabilos fair enough, I kinda like having the two separate in case my server stuff goes down for some reason

@mirabilos I do think there's still a usecase for a separate router from a server, but I do agree with ditching consumer-grade routers or the ISP provided stuff

@mirabilos I mean I suppose you could do that, but I would imagine most wouldn't do that

@mirabilos I mean well there would be NAT/port forward on v4 unless you somehow have multiple v4 external IPs
