hearing about how english classes in japanese schools suck reminds me of how much french classes suck here, like you have to take them but they don't really help you learn the language in a meaningful way
One scene I do remember is where there as a professor giving a lecture to a bunch of students in English. I think it was something to do with physics.
It seemed fairly normal at first, but at the end the professor told everyone that he wasn't going to answer questions and said in a pretty roundabout way that he wasn't allowed to answer questions by the government.
