hearing about Nvidia not supplying VRAM with their GPU dies makes me kinda wonder how it'd be like having upgradable vram on GPUs, even though this is very unlikely to happen anytime soon

taking a dump of the database cluster atm, zstd is doing a really good job at compressing it down to a more manageable size
pg_dumpall being piped to zstd, showing a 14% compression ratio

Phone trees are annoying but if I have to deal with one I'd rather then use dialing instead of voice input.

Nothing makes calling customer support worse than having their voice recognition misinterpret what you are saying

my laptop has 32 GB but tbh I don't think it's being fully utilized so I don't mind going back to 16 GB until ram prices drop

Might swap the ram between my laptop and the mini pc server this is running on since 16 GB is starting to feel a bit tight with the increasing amount of services I run on here
